The four of them traveled at a furious pace. William had left his Dragon behind, chiefly because he feared attracting the attention of other Dragons.
Many Dragons lived alone and cared little if other magical beasts or humans crossed their territory.
But another Dragon passing nearby could start a war.
Worse, the map was crowded with Dragon locations. There were at least a thousand, if not several thousand.
Who knew how many Dragons were hiding in Beast Forest?
"Could Dragon Valley be inside Beast Forest?" William had wondered. It was possible.
Dragon Valley should have been an Otherworld Space, the Nibelungen of Dragonkind. If its entrance was here, there would certainly be plenty of Dragons around its outskirts.
As time passed, the view ahead opened up.
Few tall trees stood nearby. The Hundred-Eyed Giant's lair lay ahead, beside a lovely little lake. Its blue waters looked like a small moon set into the green sea of trees.
Lancelot smacked his lips at the sight. "So this is where the Hundred-Eyed Giant lives. It doesn't look nearly as filthy as I expected."
Before William could answer—
Splash!
A figure nearly eighty meters tall burst from the lake, blue water streaming off his body.
He had never let go of the Spiked Club made from Dragon Bone.
The Hundred-Eyed Giant pulled down his crude underpants and pissed into the lake. The torrent struck the surface like a waterfall.
Then, with practiced ease, he let out a rumbling sigh. "Phew."
Lancelot nearly froze in fright.
But what stunned them even more was that this enormous creature had apparently made a habit of using the lake as his toilet. So much for the beautiful blue waters. Even a Troll would have been less disgusting.
Yet neither the Hundred-Eyed Giant's size nor his revolting habits
