William was lost in the scenes unfolding before his eyes.
The Third Era.
The Second Era.
The First Era.
And then came the Age of Gods, the era that stirred his imagination most of all.
It was like watching a series of fleeting images as the entire history of the Gods Continent passed before him.
When the last image vanished and William came back to himself, he found that he was no longer in the Temple of Time. He stood beside a vast, blue lake. Towering trees stretched endlessly into the distance, while all sorts of strange magical beasts and animals drank nearby.
Then a carnivorous magical beast burst out, sending the herbivores at the water's edge fleeing in every direction.
He glanced at his left hand. The Dream Return to Myriad Ages scroll had indeed vanished, but fortunately, his equipment and the Space Ring on his hand were still there.
"But why hasn't the Data Panel changed at all? Hm, no, it has changed. It's stopped." William raised an eyebrow. The time displayed on the Data Panel was still that of the Fourth Era, as though to say he was merely dreaming and had not traveled back into the past at all.
"Whatever. I'll look around first."
Just then—

"What the hell? That's it?" William's eyes widened. What kind of useless explanation was that? Investigate it himself? Could this thing be any more of a rip-off?
Still, he had used a Dream Back Through the Ages Scroll in his previous life, so he could guess at what the two had in common.
He had become an observer.
A god's-eye view.
Whatever happened before him,
