Is the logic acting up again?
I certainly never said in this book that William's dad died in Desolation Continent, nor did I ever say his mom died either.
Please do not argue this "fact" with me using such a definitive tone!
Everything was just William in his present life making assumptions.
And surely Alice wouldn't genuinely fail to survive just because she lacked a Life Fruit, right? A breakthrough in desolation was more likely, wasn't it? It was simply that she hadn't awakened her past-life memories at that time and didn't know what she possessed inside her body.
From start to finish, it was only William's past life who kicked the bucket back in version 1.0. I never said anything about his parents dying; those were all guesses made by his present-day self.
Especially since Rogers hadn't reached the Saint Realm yet at that time, right?
Judging from William's circumstances in this lifetime, wasn't it precisely because his mother went to Desolation Continent that his father was able to come out ahead of schedule?
Then how would you have made his father come out to save people?
His mother was at Epic Tier without awakened memories, so how could she have come out?
By committing suicide and coming out as an Undead?
What's so frustrating about a deity's son dying? Plenty of deities die, and you rarely see any of them feeling aggrieved.
Isn't it even more normal for the child of a deity to die?
Lancelot was locked away in the Nether River and tortured by the Dark Child, yet we never saw the Radiant Main God go to save him, nor did the Radiant Pope, who was relatively close to him, go either, did we?
At equivalent tiers, if your skill is inferior to others, you die
