The Magic Lamp overhead flickered faintly, making the dim room look downright sinister. In the middle, two bound Humanoid Beings knelt on the floor, apparently begging for mercy.
If an outsider saw this, someone would definitely call the cops.
Then came the exchange.

The other party handed over the goods.
William promptly shook off the two Dark Lords, who were clinging to him with tear-filled eyes and refusing to let go.
This time, His Highness hadn't received any Holy Relics or Divine Artifacts. Those things didn't grow on trees, as the two Dark Lords made painfully clear.
Every Saint might have a Holy Relic, but that didn't mean each of them had seven or eight to spare.

They've already agreed among themselves. No matter how high the bidding goes, they won't let the Dark Lords' price reach the level of a Holy Relic. William had been turning that over in his mind ever since leaving the Demon Hunter Guild.
During the auction, he had noticed them holding back from bidding.
