Faith was poisonous.
But after studying it for so long, the Gods had naturally found three ways to solve the problem of faith.
1. Reincarnation.
2. Refining other Born Deities into vessels to bear faith.
3. Completely stripping all faith from one's body, then using the Faith Purification Method, jointly created by the Gods, when gathering faith again.
Each of the three methods had its own advantages and disadvantages.
There was no need to say much about reincarnation.
The second method was too evil. Aside from a few people planning to screw over every single Deity, no one would use such a method.
Although Deities appeared to be individuals, they could also be described as a collective. For example, Rogers Divine Fortune had represented the fortune of the Gods.
If too many Deities truly used the second method, the Gods would never be able to rise again.
As for the Faith Purification Method, since it had seemingly already been created, everything should have been simple.
But the real difficulty lay in removing the faith that had already been absorbed into the body and even fused with the soul.
This was also why Deities who had not reincarnated had all become reclusive powerhouses.
Throughout those long years, they had to constantly cleanse the tangled faith and strip it away from their Divine Cores.

Over that endless stretch of time, they had scarcely been able to rest.
This had even caused some Deities with insufficiently firm wills to die in their secluded hideouts.
But one thing was certain: even after all faith had been stripped away, their strength would certainly decline. Yet throughout those countless years, the Deities had also been cultivating, ensuring that even with a great loss in strength,
