Loki had never imagined that the Mind Scepter would actually be ineffective against Loren!

This was downright insane!

That was the Mind Stone, for crying out loud!

And now, he had no time to think about that.

Seeing Loren directly snatch the Mind Scepter from his hand, he immediately panicked.

This was the only thing he had left that could turn things around. Once he lost it, he would have no hope left at all.

Besides, Thanos had given him the Mind Scepter to conquer Earth, then seize the Space Stone and the Time Stone.

Now, the Chitauri army had been completely wiped out, and the only remaining Leviathan Ship had been captured by Loren.

If he lost the Mind Scepter too, then he would be truly finished.

If Thanos found out, he would be dead for sure.

So no matter what, he could not let Loren take the Mind Scepter. Even if it was taken, he had to take it back.

"Mine! That's mine! Give it back to me!"

With that thought in mind, he immediately grabbed the tip of the Mind Scepter and pulled hard toward himself, trying to take it back.

Seeing this, Loren wore a teasing expression. "Loki, what's gotten into you? A gift once given is like water thrown out—you can't take it back."

"Damn brat, quit putting on an act. I'm not in the mood to play with you right now. Who said I was giving it to you? You stole it outright! Let go, it's mine!"

Looking at Loren's pretentious act, Loki was furious enough to wish he could kill Loren on the spot.

Unfortunately, he was no match for him, so he could only try to rely on his loud voice to get the Mind Scepter back.
