The moment he saw Daisy Johnson appear before him, Nick Fury immediately realized something was wrong.

No matter how much he calculated, he had never expected Loren to set his sights on the Inhumans member he had just wanted to recruit!

Daisy was one of his key recruitment targets at this stage. She had no background, yet possessed formidable abilities. People like that were the easiest to train.

Once she could be brought into S.H.I.E.L.D., their strength would naturally rise as well.

It might not be enough to contend with Loren in the future, but at least they would have another trump card in hand. What was not to like about that?

But judging by Loren's expression now, he was clearly here for Daisy!

Based on what he knew about Loren, the man must have learned about Daisy beforehand and deliberately come looking for her.

There was no need to mention his purpose. He had obviously come to steal her away.

As for why he wanted to steal her, given Loren's lecherous nature, he was one hundred percent after Daisy's body.

Seeing Loren stare unblinkingly at Daisy Johnson, Coulson hurriedly pleaded, trying to make Loren give up on Daisy.

But how could Loren possibly let go of a woman he had set his sights on so easily?

As though he had not heard Coulson at all, he simply stepped forward and walked up to Daisy.

Perhaps out of concern that Daisy might escape, her ankles were still shackled.
