The Milano's cockpit was silent.

That old '80s song had already stopped. The pressure left behind by that man still hung in the air, suffocating them.

Rocket Raccoon was the first to bristle. Clutching his massive gun, he circled the spot where Chu Hang had just stood, his nose twitching nonstop.

"What the hell was that? How did he get in? And how did he disappear?" he screeched. "He didn't even leave behind a fart smell!"

"He wasn't a thing. He was a person." Drax climbed up from beside the wall, rubbing his dazed head. His tone was deeply puzzled. "A very powerful person. I resisted his control with all my strength, but it was useless."

Gamora's expression was grim. She sheathed her blade, her gaze solemn. "He can freeze space. I've only heard of that ability in legends. He's no ordinary Earthling."

"Hey, everyone, relax." Peter Quill leaned back in the pilot's seat and whistled, though his trembling fingers gave away his nerves. "Didn't he say it himself? He's an Earthling too, just like me. We stay out of each other's way."

"You call that staying out of our way?" Rocket jumped onto the console and pointed at the smooth cut on it. "Reinforced titanium alloy! He sliced it with his finger! His finger! Quill, you idiot, we just slipped out from under a god's nose! If he'd wanted to, we'd be a pile of space junk right now!"

"I am Groot." Groot waved his branch-like arm, his expression grave.

"Exactly, Groot's right!" Rocket agreed excitedly. "We should toss this damn orb immediately and get as far away from that monster as possible!"

"No!" Gamora objected at once. "We have to deliver the Orb to the buyer. Forty billion. With that money, we can finally be truly free." She
