Chu Hang returned to Earth.

He closed his eyes and unleashed Super Hearing once more, scanning the entire planet.

This time was different.

He could not only hear sounds; he could also see the causal threads behind them.

Who was speaking, why they were speaking, and what would happen after they finished—every bit of information flooded into his mind.

He began filtering it.

Most of it was trivial, irrelevant chatter, and he discarded it outright.

Then he heard a conversation.

At a military base somewhere in Metropolis, a group of uniformed personnel were arguing.

"Has the signal source been confirmed?"

"Confirmed. It's coming from outer space and is approaching Earth."

"Did Clark Kent bring it here?"

"Not sure, but the timing is too much of a coincidence."

"Prepare response plans. If they're hostile..."

Chu Hang opened his eyes.

A name immediately came to mind.

Chu Hang rose to his feet, walked to the window, and looked up at the night sky.

The stars filled the heavens, tranquil and undisturbed. But he knew that something was rapidly approaching from the depths of that dark universe.

Super Hearing continued working, catching more information.

The argument at the military base continued. Some advocated striking first, some argued for waiting and watching, and others suggested contacting Superman.

Chu Hang had no interest in any of that.

There was something else he cared about.
