The Green Lantern Corps intervenes

Chu Hang burst out of the ruins on the seabed, gripping the Dark Trident.

After the isolated space collapsed, the entire trench shook. Huge rocks fell from above, striking the seabed with dull crashes. He ignored them, kicked off, and shot upward like a cannonball.

Seawater exploded around him.

His Kryptonian physiology made him absurdly fast. In less than three seconds, he cleared the seven-thousand-meter-deep trench. His view opened up, revealing the energy shield around Atlantis's main city glowing pale blue in the dark depths.

Chu Hang did not head that way. He turned and swam in the opposite direction.

His super hearing picked up movement behind him. More than a dozen figures raced out from the main city.

Leading them was a red-haired woman holding a trident.

Mera, Aquaman's wife.

Chu Hang accelerated, but so did his pursuers. The woman raised her hand and swept it forward. The surrounding seawater seemed to come alive, forming a gigantic palm that slammed down from above.

He raised the Dark Trident and thrust upward.

Black energy erupted from its tip, instantly shredding the hand of water. The energy continued upward, carving a black fissure through the sea.

Mera's expression changed, and she shouted for him to stop.

Chu Hang ignored her. He only wanted to leave these waters, not get tangled up with the Atlanteans. They were merely protecting their territory and meant no harm, but he saw no need to explain himself.

Mera raised her hand again, summoning an even greater current. The seawater within hundreds of meters formed a vortex, crushing inward from every direction.

Chu Hang activated the law of space, forming a spherical barrier around himself. The seawater struck it with a roar but could not get through. He kept swimming, the barrier moving with him and holding
