The private jet landed at an estate in northern New York State.
Chu Hang walked down the stairs, with Sean and Angel following behind him.
Charles was already waiting at the entrance. Jean stood beside his wheelchair, looking at Chu Hang with a complicated expression.
"Welcome back," Charles said, his gaze falling on Sean and Angel.
"They need training," Chu Hang said. "I'll stay for a few days and teach them the basics."
"You still won't stay?"
"There are more important things." Chu Hang looked into the distance. "Egypt."
Charles turned his wheelchair slightly and extended his psychic power, only for it to be blocked by an invisible barrier. He sighed.
"What are you looking for?"
"An old fellow who's been asleep for thousands of years," Chu Hang said without hiding it. "Apocalypse."
Charles's expression changed.
"That's just a legend."
"He exists," Chu Hang cut him off. "And he's about to wake up. I need to make some preparations."
Charles fell silent. He knew Chu Hang's temperament. Once he made up his mind, he would not change it.
"What do you plan to do?"
"Find him first, then see how things go." Chu Hang headed into the estate. "I'll stay for three days. Once I've taught them, I'm leaving."
Over the next three days, Chu Hang remained in the training room. He helped Sean stabilize his sonic waves, making their output more precise. He also guided Angel, teaching her how to use her wings and acid more effectively.
