Meteorite Base control room.

Chu Hang studied the projection before him. A list of coordinates from Loki hung in midair: more than a dozen universe designations, each with a note.

One entry caught his eye.

Universe B-7. The note read: "Superpowers commercialized. Social structure distorted. Recommend establishing an anchor point as a priority."

Chu Hang opened the detailed file.

Its powers came from an artificial substance called Compound V.

Those injected with it had a chance of gaining superpowers. They were called superheroes.

But in reality, they were controlled by a corporation: Vought International.

The heroes protected no one.

They were celebrities. Products.

Chu Hang narrowed his eyes.

The energy fluctuations in this universe were strange. They weren't as pure as the cosmic energy of the Marvel Universe, or as complex as the mutant genes of the X-Men Universe.

It was more like something had been deliberately twisted and forced into human genes, producing warped powers.

He pulled up more intelligence.

Vought Corporation had a team called The Seven, the most powerful superhero group in that universe.

Their leader was Homelander. He could fly and had super strength, Heat Vision, and Super Hearing.

Much like Superman.

But the note added: "Extremely unstable mental state. Antisocial tendencies. Threat level: SSS."

Chu Hang stared at that line for several seconds.

He had seen plenty of powerful people, and plenty of madmen.

But few were marked "extremely unstable" by the Time Variance Authority.

Something was wrong with Homelander.

Chu Hang turned toward the energy core. Golden light hovered there: the Dimensional Clone template he had adjusted after returning from the X-Men Universe.

The clone he had sent to the X-Men Universe had only been at the early Low Skyfather level. This time, he needed to raise the bar.
