Shen Ranxin glanced at the alarm clock on the table. It read 2:50 a.m.

He sat on the bed and curled one snowy-white ankle.

"When did you remember?" Shen Ranxin idly stepped on him as if teasing a dog. The mole at the tip of his nose swayed softly with his movements, and a captivating charm flickered in his narrowed eyes.

"Mm, I just remembered." Lu Zhi reached out to grab his ankle.

Shen Ranxin pressed down harder, displeased. "Let go."

Lu Zhi pursed his lips and tremblingly released his paw, then grabbed the carpet beneath him instead.

Shen Ranxin lifted his chin. "Take your clothes off."

Lu Zhi tilted his head and gladly tossed the T-shirt he was wearing aside. "Baby, I missed you so much..."

Shen Ranxin planted his foot on Lu Zhi's shoulder, pinning him to the floor as he looked down at him. The cold moonlight in his eyes set Lu Zhi's blood boiling.

"You missed me..." Shen Ranxin took something from the drawer beside him. "I waited eight days for you. Eight days without sleep, and the first thing you said when you opened your eyes was, 'Who are you?'"

Lu Zhi smiled helplessly. "I didn't want that either. It was just, at the time..."

He pursed his lips and said softly, "Baby, I'm sorry. Even with the inhibitor interfering, I should've remembered you right away."

Shen Ranxin snorted and brought the thing in his hand closer to Lu Zhi.

By the moonlight, Lu Zhi could see that it was a black waist-cinching leather belt... At least, that was what he thought it was when it tightened across his chest.
