Teacher Shen, You Smell So Good

Shen Ranxin's expression went blank for a moment, then the tips of his ears instantly flushed hot.

He had always been a light sleeper; even the slightest noise was enough to wake him. Yet this morning, Fang Yu and Jiang Ye had brought in a whole group of staff, and he had not noticed at all.

When Lu Zhi's pheromone scent was not too strong, it did not cause him pain. Instead, it gave him the dizzy calm of having had a small drink.

He had to admit that he had slept very well last night. He had even had a rather pleasant dream, in which he seemed to have gnawed on a duck collarbone...

Lu Zhi watched the various expressions flicker across Shen Ranxin's face with great interest, until Shen Ranxin's gaze began darting away and he no longer dared look at him.

"What's wrong? Why isn't Teacher Shen looking at me?" Lu Zhi reached out, tipped up his chin, and forced Shen Ranxin to meet his eyes. "Did you have some improper dream about me last night?"

Shen Ranxin paused, his gaze wandering as he said nothing.

He could not exactly tell him that he had treated his collarbone like a duck collarbone and gnawed on it, could he?

"Ahem, no." Shen Ranxin raised a hand and pushed away the hand lightly pinching his jaw. "You should change into something else."

"No." Lu Zhi tugged his collar down a little. "I want to wear this."

Shen Ranxin held back for a moment before finally saying, "Don't you think you look like one of those...?"

Lu Zhi raised an eyebrow. "One of what?"

"A male escort at some sleazy establishment, using every possible means to seduce customers."

Shen Ranxin had assumed that Lu Zhi would fly into a rage from embarrassment after hearing such an insulting term, then change out of that damned tight gray shirt!

Unexpectedly, Lu Zhi's eyes curved. More seductive haze surfaced in those glass-like eyes, and he pressed his lips together before letting out a hoarse chuckle. "Then in my little establishment, there's only one customer—Teacher Shen... Teacher Shen, what kind of service would you like?"

Shen Ranxin: "..."

Shen Ranxin: "..."

Shen Ranxin: "Don't make me hit you."

"Fine. It's not that I don't want to change; it's just that aside from this, I don't have any other suitable clothes." Lu Zhi straightened up. "How about Teacher Shen lends me something?"

Shen Ranxin hesitated, weighing it over again and again.

Rather than let this flashy peacock wear that outfit out and strut around, lending him some clothes did not seem so unacceptable.

"I want something Teacher Shen has worn." Lu Zhi pushed his luck. "I'm not used to wearing new clothes."

Shen Ranxin took a deep breath and began rummaging through his suitcase.

Lu Zhi was actually a little bigger than him, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. Most of Shen Ranxin's clothes would be somewhat ill-fitting on him.

After a great deal of searching, Shen Ranxin finally dug out an item of clothing from his suitcase and tossed it to him.

Lu Zhi caught it, lifted it to his nose, and sniffed it. Raising an eyebrow, he said, "Teacher Shen, you smell so good."

"Pervert." Shen Ranxin gritted his teeth as he watched Lu Zhi, thoroughly satisfied, slip into the bathroom to change. He lowered his head and zipped up his suitcase.

Meanwhile, after Fang Yu came out of Shen Ranxin's room, he immediately dragged Jiang Ye to Cheng Cheng and Gu Yifei's room.

Jiang Ye stared at the wrist Fang Yu was holding the entire time, remaining silent.

It was not until Fang Yu started pulling out the keycard that he realized he had been holding Jiang Ye's wrist all along.

Fang Yu instinctively flung it away.

Jiang Ye looked up at him in a daze.

Realizing how awkward it was, Fang Yu took a breath and forced a smile. "Sorry, I didn't realize. Why didn't you remind me?"

Jiang Ye said nothing. Fang Yu was so embarrassed his back went numb, and he slapped himself across the face several times in his mind.

So what if he had gone into heat in front of an Alpha ten years younger than him? So what if Jiang Ye's pheromones had induced him?

They were both adults! It was not some rare, shocking thing! He only needed to keep treating him like a junior, just as he had before!

He talked himself into it in three seconds, then casually swiped the keycard to open Cheng Cheng's door.

There was no one in the room.

The entire room was immaculate. There was not a wrinkle on either single bed, and the blankets were neatly folded at the head of the beds.

Clearly, the two Omegas had gotten up long ago.

The staff were stunned. They had not expected those two to be awake so early.

It was only seven in the morning!

"As expected of little Cheng Cheng." Fang Yu joked to the camera, "Up so early—he must have gone to prepare breakfast for us. Let's go downstairs and find them."

With that, he turned and went downstairs, only to find the kitchen empty as well.

Fang Yu led the camera-carrying staff through the entire villa, searching back and forth, but they could not find any sign of the two Omegas.

At that moment, Lu Zhi and Shen Ranxin, now changed, came down from the second floor as well.

Fang Yu saw Lu Zhi wearing a black cotton T-shirt, its crew neck completely concealing the hickey, while a sour-faced Shen Ranxin stood beside him.

Jiang Ye asked, "Have you seen Cheng Cheng and Gu Yifei? They're not in their room."

"They're not in their room?" Shen Ranxin frowned, somewhat concerned. "What could two Omegas be doing?"

Just as everyone was about to go out and search for Gu Yifei and Cheng Cheng, the two appeared at the villa entrance, walking toward them through the morning light.

The two Omegas had a bit of dirt on their faces and looked somewhat bedraggled. Each carried a hoe over his shoulder as they walked toward the villa one after the other.

Lu Zhi happened to emerge from the kitchen after warming the milk. He held it out to Shen Ranxin. "See? They're back. Ranran, drink some milk."

That "Ranran" gave Shen Ranxin goosebumps all over. He lifted his foot and kicked Lu Zhi. "Can't you address people properly?"

"Cheng Cheng can call you A-Ran, so why can't I call you Ranran?" Lu Zhi said softly. "I want to be different from everyone else. I want a name only I can use."

Shen Ranxin rolled his eyes and did not take Lu Zhi's milk.

"Drink up," Lu Zhi said. "If you don't drink this, I'll make you drink something else tonight."

Shen Ranxin: "..."

He did not want to know what this "something else" was at all. He snatched the milk and gulped it down in one go, then stuffed the cup back into Lu Zhi's hand.

Lu Zhi went back to the kitchen to wash the cup. When he came out, Cheng Cheng and Gu Yifei had just reached the door, and he heard Fang Yu ask, "What have you two been doing?"

Gu Yifei and Cheng Cheng looked at each other, then spoke at the same time.

"Morning run."

"Watering the fields."

Everyone: "???"

Cheng Cheng looked at Gu Yifei. "Do you think we look dressed for a morning run?"

Gu Yifei retorted, "Where would our dating show even have fields to water?"

After an eerie silence.

Actually... their dating show... had planted a few things.

Fang Yu gave Lu Zhi a thoughtful look.

Lu Zhi turned and ran toward Paperbush Garden.
