Didn't I Get Off Shen Ranxin?

Shen Ranxin lowered his head to look at him. His gaze was shimmering and unfocused, his lashes wet, crystalline tears winding down his face and slipping along his jaw into his open collar.

He had practically lost the ability to speak. His lips had been rubbed raw and red, a small tip of crimson tongue peeking out as he could only focus on breathing.

Seeing him like this, Lu Zhi did not force Shen Ranxin to speak. A trace of tenderness showed in his eyes as he leaned in and captured Shen Ranxin's lips once more.

This kiss was not as fierce and tempestuous as before. It was gentle, like lovers whispering to each other. Shen Ranxin gave a soft hum, instinctively wrapping his arms around Lu Zhi's neck and carefully responding, obediently trying to earn himself some much-needed air.

Lu Zhi brushed against the corner of his lips. Pleased by Shen Ranxin's compliance, he finally let him off.

Cheng Cheng's impatient knocking sounded again. He gritted his teeth and said, "Lu Zhi, what the hell is this? Do you think forcing him like this counts as liking him or loving him? You've never respected him from beginning to end!"

Shen Ranxin's blank gaze paused. The fingers gripping Lu Zhi's shoulder tightened, his nails digging deeply into flesh.

Lu Zhi's eyes were filled with gloom. "Do you think I'm forcing you too?"

Shen Ranxin pressed his lips together, lowered his eyes, and said nothing.

Lu Zhi picked him up.

Shen Ranxin's back left the doorframe, and Lu Zhi reached out to lock the door.

Cheng Cheng fumed outside. "Lu Zhi!"

"Ah." Without the doorframe supporting him, Shen Ranxin was completely hanging off Lu Zhi. He instinctively tightened his legs around Lu Zhi's waist. "What are you doing?"

Lu Zhi carried him into the bathroom and set him down.

The moment Shen Ranxin's feet touched the ground, he suddenly realized he no longer had the strength to stand. His legs gave way, and he was about to fall to his knees.

Lu Zhi's arm swept around his waist and pulled him into his embrace.

Before the enormous vanity mirror, Lu Zhi wrapped his arms around him from behind. Shen Ranxin instinctively braced his hands on the counter, while Lu Zhi's large hand covered his.

"Look." Lu Zhi gripped his chin, making him look directly at himself in the mirror.

Through his blurred, tear-filled eyes, Shen Ranxin saw himself in the reflection.

His lips were brilliantly red, tears had left wild trails across his face, and his eyes were brimming with desire and longing. Several suggestive marks stained his neck, making his exceptionally cold and beautiful face resemble a seductive demon born of the night.

Shen Ranxin blinked as though he had not processed it.

"You've never rejected my advances." Pressing against him, Lu Zhi whispered into his ear, "Look at yourself right now. You can't deny it—you want me."

Shen Ranxin opened his mouth, instinctively denying it. "No..."

How could Lu Zhi's closeness make him feel safe? How could Lu Zhi's kisses feel so good?

He was supposed to... he was supposed to be an observer!

A violent headache struck him. He bowed his head and gulped down air, trying to ease the excruciating pain.

Holding him, Lu Zhi said in a low voice, "Shen Ranxin, you're the one who's driving me crazy... I'm afraid that if you remember those things, you'll fall into pain again. But I'm also afraid that you'll never remember how much you used to like me."

Shen Ranxin spoke with difficulty. "What... what are you saying?"

He could not make out what information Lu Zhi's words contained. Right now, he could not even think about what they meant.

Lu Zhi buried his face in Shen Ranxin's neck, his voice muffled. "Don't get close to anyone else anymore, baby. You can only be mine, and you will only ever be mine. I don't care whether you remember or not, and I don't care whether you'll blame me after you do remember. I just want you by my side. I don't want to go back to those five years. Those days were worse than killing me."

Shen Ranxin stared blankly at the bathroom floor. "Did I... forget something important?"

Lu Zhi did not answer again. He gently kissed the side of Shen Ranxin's ear. "If you're tired, then don't remember. Just remember me."

Under Lu Zhi's gentle kisses, Shen Ranxin's headache really did ease a little.

After all that, he was exhausted. Having shed too many tears, once things quieted down, waves of sleepiness came over him.

Lu Zhi carried Shen Ranxin back to the bed, gently straightened his clothes, and sat by the bedside watching him for a while.

Cheng Cheng knocked again. Lu Zhi walked over and opened the door with a click.

Without another word, Cheng Cheng threw a punch at the Alpha's face.

Lu Zhi tilted his head slightly, and Cheng Cheng's fist flew past the side of his face.

Lu Zhi said coldly, "Cheng Cheng, I promised Lu Yeshan that as long as you didn't set your sights on Shen Ranxin, I wouldn't touch you. But that doesn't mean I can really stop myself from killing you. If you understand, stay the hell away from Shen Ranxin."

Cheng Cheng looked past Lu Zhi and saw Shen Ranxin sleeping on the bed, the corners of his eyes stained peach-blossom pink by tears, his lips swollen and red. Anyone could tell at a glance what he had just gone through.

"Weren't you the one who broke the rules first?" Cheng Cheng roared in a lowered voice. "Don't forget, I was the one who was originally supposed to marry him! You're the third party who meddled in someone else's relationship!"

"Why are you losing it at me?" Lu Zhi raised an eyebrow disdainfully. "If Shen Ranxin didn't like me, would I have had the chance to be the other man? If you think being the other man is wrong, then just give up Shen Ranxin and let him have me. Then I wouldn't have to be the other man, would I?"

Cheng Cheng: "?"

Lu Zhi: "Being the other man was merely a way to prove my charm. Since Shen Ranxin chose me, that makes you the other man, doesn't it? How ridiculous..."

Cheng Cheng could not help raising his voice. "Lu Zhi!"

"Why are you yelling?" Lu Zhi frowned and shoved Cheng Cheng outside. As though afraid Cheng Cheng would disturb Shen Ranxin's rest, he closed the door behind him, then turned to see several people coming upstairs with the cameraman.

President Lu lowered his brows, revealing his usual shameless expression. Innocently and suggestively, he said, "Didn't I get off Shen Ranxin?"

Everyone: "?"

Huh?

Director Chen, who had rushed upstairs with the camera crew because Cheng Cheng's shout of "Lu Zhi" had made him worry the two would beat each other into the hospital again: "...?"

I'm sick of saying the words "censor it."

The comments immediately exploded.

There were no cameras in the hallway, so everyone had only caught that final line.
