Shen Ranxin looked around. "Leave the things here for now. Cover them with brush and they'll be hard to spot. Let's go back and find Gu Yifei first."

"The production crew probably detained him." Cheng Cheng said, "We should take the stuff back first, then figure out how to come back for him. The production crew won't do anything to him anyway."

Fang Yu also spoke up after hearing that. "It's not safe to leave this stuff here. Who knows if some wild animal might come by? Going back and forth won't take long anyway. Gu Yifei can just sit at the production camp a little longer."

Jiang Ye nodded and turned to Lu Zhi. "What does President Lu think?"

"I'll listen to Shen Ranxin."

Shen Ranxin frowned. Fang Yu had a point too. Gu Yifei hadn't caught up with them; perhaps the production crew really had detained him to force them into exchanging the food back, or perhaps they had already sent people after them, waiting for them to leave so they could take the food.

But if Gu Yifei had truly run into danger, they had to find him as quickly as possible. Not a single second could be wasted.

"Then I'll go check the production camp. You guys take these things back." Shen Ranxin said, "As long as I confirm Gu Yifei is safe at the production camp, I'll immediately come back and meet up with you."
