Can You Kiss Me?

Shen Ranxin looked at Lu Zhi's face behind the Bite Guard, leaned down, reached out to touch his gland, and asked softly, "Does it hurt?"

Lu Zhi's gaze sharpened. Scarlet spread through his eyes as he looked at Shen Ranxin, starlight shattered beneath the water.

"Your gland was scraped raw by the Bite Guard." Shen Ranxin seemed distracted, his gaze blank as he murmured, "Lu Zhi, I think I knew you before."

The corners of Lu Zhi's lips curved faintly beneath the Bite Guard. "Is that so?"

Shen Ranxin blinked and withdrew his hand from Lu Zhi's gland.

Lu Zhi grabbed the hand he had pulled away and rubbed his cheek against it. "Darling, you're so sexy right now. I really want to kiss you. Can you help me take off the Bite Guard?"

"Isn't it only supposed to come off after three days?" Shen Ranxin froze for a moment.

Lu Zhi lowered his voice. "We'll do it secretly."

Shen Ranxin: "..."

Why did this feel like they were having an affair?

Shen Ranxin hesitated, then lightly touched the corner of Lu Zhi's eye with his finger.

A sheen of moisture rubbed off beneath it.

When Lu Zhi spoke those words from the dream, Zhi Zhi's eyes had welled with tears.

It seemed Lu Zhi had never cried in front of him.

Shen Ranxin bent down, slipped his fingers past the Bite Guard, and paused above Lu Zhi's gland. With a click, he released the Bite Guard's lock.

The silver earring on Lu Zhi's ear began flashing wildly.

He threw the earring aside and, heedless of everything else, wrapped an arm around Shen Ranxin's waist.

Shen Ranxin was half-sitting on the bed. The Alpha's eager approach startled him, and his fingers clutched helplessly at the Alpha's clothes.
