Dumb Dumb warily watched Nassess resting beside him. Even Little Mir had woken up, baring her teeth fiercely at Nassess.

"Turtle... how's Dad...?"

Little Mir anxiously nudged Dumb Dumb. The magic barrier remained pitch-black, and she could not see anything inside.

"It's fine. Didn't you see the wounds on that dragon? Your dad gave him all of those. He beat that dragon until it shit itself!"

Dumb Dumb continued trying to salvage Qian Guang's image. Although there had been no movement inside the magic barrier, he could still sense that Qian Guang was fine—at least, nothing too serious.

Bang!

Nassess's dragon tail slapped the ground, startling Dumb Dumb badly. He nervously glanced at Nassess, then relaxed when he saw that Nassess was still asleep.

He then began muttering under his breath, "You trash dragon, don't think I'm scared of you. I just don't want to fight... Sorry, sorry! Σ_(꒪ཀ꒪"∠) Blegh!"

Before Dumb Dumb could even exert himself, Nassess's tail sent his shell flying. The intense dizziness nearly made Dumb Dumb throw up, and worst of all, Little Mir had already thrown up!!!

"Hmph. ╯^╰"

Nassess snorted. Of course he had heard what Dumb Dumb said, and he had done it on purpose.

He had not dealt with him earlier because he wanted to preserve some dignity for Qian Guang and himself in front of the child. Who knew this fellow would become more and more outrageous!

Sure enough, all Obsidian Turtles were the same—far too obnoxious! If not for their hard shells, they might have been wiped out for their foul mouths long ago.

Nassess sensed that Qian Guang inside the magic barrier had already fainted. After all, Nassess himself had reinforced the black curtain outside, specifically so Qian Guang would not
