Zombie Universe

As if confirming Ke Chen's thoughts, the Avengers and X-Men, who had been lying on the ground, gradually climbed back to their feet.

They had all become like the Sentry, their eyes crimson and their minds stripped of reason. Their mouths gaped wide, and they no longer regarded the Sentry as an enemy. Like The Walking Dead, they stood and stared at Carol and Ke Chen in the sky.

Clearly, they had all been "infected" by the Sentry and turned into zombies—bloodthirsty creatures barely able to control their sanity.

They had not completely lost their minds. They simply could not restrain that gnawing hunger, and so they needed "living people."

"What happened to them?"

Carol sensed that something was wrong as well. She had originally been preparing to attack the Sentry, but her companions had risen to their feet with such drastic changes that she was caught completely off guard.

Ke Chen already knew what was happening, so he immediately said, "Zombie Universe."

"What? What does that mean?"

Ms. Marvel, Carol, asked in shock.

"Just as the name suggests, this universe will be overrun by the Zombie Virus."

Ke Chen spoke calmly. He knew what kind of universe this was, yet he was not particularly worried. He remained relaxed, perhaps because true skill gave him courage.

Carol wanted to disbelieve him, but what lay before her told her it might actually be true.

The superhumans who had climbed back up were all roaring at her, as though they wanted to tear her to pieces and devour her.

Zombies... did such things really exist in this world?

Ke Chen knew they did. Back when zombies had been wildly popular, Marvel and DC had naturally wanted in on the trend, and thus the Zombie Universe was born. Even superheroes could not resist
