Ke Chen flew straight in front of Ms. Marvel. Her eyes seemed to be glowing, though it was really just reflected light.

But she had indeed fallen for him. She flew over and wrapped him in an embrace. All around them was the universe—nothing but darkness, really—yet Ke Chen illuminated the space around them, with starlight occasionally visible in the distance.

Without another word, Ke Chen put his arms around her and boldly kissed her. There was no one else in space anyway.

Still, it was too difficult after all. After a long while, they carefully flew back to Earth.

This time, they were no longer in New York. More than half of New York had been destroyed, but at least the matter had been resolved.

"I want to be Captain Marvel for once."

Ms. Marvel spoke, and her meaning was clear: she wanted to play the role of the other Captain Marvel with Ke Chen.

Naturally, Ke Chen did not refuse. They looked even more alike than biological sisters. After all, she was a variant, practically an identical Carol, though her style was completely different. Ke Chen would not let such an opportunity pass.

Besides, Ms. Marvel had taken the initiative herself. Of course Ke Chen would not refuse.

The two went straight to Los Angeles. Carol became utterly uninhibited, and Ke Chen naturally indulged himself as well. He was planning to have fun for two days before leaving, and this would only leave Ms. Marvel with endless wonderful memories.

If Ms. Marvel ever gained the ability to travel through the Multiverse, perhaps she would come find him again to relive those memories.
