Death had not erased Tony's memories and turned him into a soul like all the others. Clearly, she had a purpose.

Otherwise, she would have turned Tony into a soul like the others before Ke Chen arrived.

Sure enough, Death revealed her purpose as she looked at Ke Chen.

"I need a child."

"?"

Ke Chen looked at her speechlessly.

"You possess the bloodline of a creator god. It can suppress the power of death and prevent the child I bear from corroding the entire universe."

The Goddess of Death looked at Ke Chen, flames burning within her hollow eyes.

Ke Chen glanced at Tony, who was also looking at him.

Although Tony desperately wanted Ke Chen to refuse, he wanted to live even more!

He still had not had enough fun with all those cover girls!

Thus, Tony could only look at Ke Chen and say, "Ahem, good brother, how about you make a sacrifice? Your body is strong anyway. It won't hurt even if you run into bones."

Tony snickered as he spoke. The Goddess of Death's face was nothing but a skull, so there was no need to mention what lay beneath that black robe.

How was she supposed to have a child like that? Could skeletons go wild too!?

Tony could not suppress the smile on his face, and Ke Chen really wanted to slap him to death.

Then the Goddess of Death said, "If you do not like how I look now, I can change."

Ke Chen and Tony looked over. The Goddess of Death's face suddenly changed, her skeletal visage instantly becoming that of a beautiful woman.

Worthy of being Death, she was still dressed entirely in black—long black hair, pitch-black lips, and streaks on her face like tear stains.

Yet no matter how
