If Jing Yi had taken a proper look at the star map, he would have realized that the Mi Star System was actually not that far from the Solar System—though "not far" still meant over ten thousand light-years. The Milky Way had a diameter of one hundred and twenty thousand light-years, and both the Mi Star System and the Solar System lay on the outskirts, on the same side. Back then, Diandian had brought Jing Yi through a wormhole between them.

For now, let's not mention Jing Yi's ignorance when it came to directions.

Not long after that letter of state arrived, a fleet led by Mi Star people appeared in the Mi Star Sector.

Mi Star sent representatives to receive these envoys. At first, they had worried that the letter of state might be someone's prank, but they soon met the so-called Changxing. They were entirely different from Mi Star people and X-Star people. Mi Star people, X-Star people, and Earth people were all carbon-based lifeforms, while these Changxing were the legendary silicon-based lifeforms. They were somewhat taller, possessed their own distinct civilization, and were very friendly. They were led by a Mi Star man named Sha He. Judging from the way they interacted, this "Sha He" held quite a high position and was deeply respected. Clearly, as an outsider, he had done very well for himself among the Changxing.

Actually, the simplest way to determine whether this was trustworthy would have been to ask Diandian. But when Jing Yi brought it up, Diandian said that it had not come from this spatial dimension, nor from this temporal dimension...
