Remi and Kindi had both been awakened by the enormous bell at the harbor. A new day had begun. After a night of rest, the hot water from the previous evening had thoroughly washed away everyone's fatigue and travel dust, leaving them refreshed once more.

After breakfast at the inn, they rented a carriage at Remi's suggestion and began their tour of Menethil Harbor.

This port city was an important link between the inland Dwarves and the outside world, as well as the largest and busiest trading port in the Dwarf kingdom.

Wheat, silk, linen, and timber from other cities were shipped here, while the armor and weapons carefully forged by the Dwarves, along with all kinds of ore mined from deep within the mountains, were sent to other lands.

The entire city had actually been built on an isolated island in the sea. Where the bay was shallow, the Dwarves had constructed a tall, sturdy wall that encircled half the city. The only connection to the mainland was a broad stone bridge guarded by numerous harbor sentries.

There was no longer any sign of the devastation caused by war within Menethil Harbor itself. However, quite a few Orc troops still remained across the vast wetlands.

They were small units left scattered behind during the Orcs' great retreat. Having gathered together, they posed a serious threat to travel between Loch Modan and Menethil Harbor.

The town hall in Menethil had already issued a notice: small merchant caravans and lone travelers were best advised to wait and travel with Dwarf guard convoys. Otherwise, traveling alone from Menethil to the Loch Modan region could have extremely serious consequences. This was also the main reason Kindi's family had chosen to fly to Ironforge.
