Preparations

Aokiji and Li Ziming arrived at the coast. To set a few things up, they had headed to the third node first, but the spot they reached was where the Marines planned to land. Some Marine soldiers were already making preparations, and Pacifistas were slowly marching ashore.

"They've upgraded these things again?" Li Ziming frowned, though he mostly felt resigned. "Still, they really are useless against me..."

"Against you..." Aokiji looked at the several Pacifistas. "Their bodies are made from some unknown metal. I heard that has something to do with a Devil Fruit user, too. You could say the Pacifistas combine Kuma's body, Kizaru's lasers, and that strange metal. Against ordinary pirates, they're outright killing machines. You're about the only brat who doesn't care..." Aokiji couldn't help sighing. Apparently, even Devil Fruit users couldn't escape unfavorable matchups. His own power could deal with Pacifistas, too, but nowhere near as conveniently as Li Ziming's.

"So what do we do next..." Aokiji watched as more and more warships gradually appeared on the horizon. The Marines were clearly preparing ahead of time as well.

"Si, can you do it?" Li Ziming asked quietly.

At first, Aokiji didn't understand whom he was calling, but the gradual transformation of Li Ziming's right hand left him stunned. "What is that thing?"

His transforming right hand actually became a little girl, blue all over except for some green patches at her extremities.

"This is my companion, and also my right hand..." Si, Li Ziming's right hand, had merely separated off a small body, so his right hand remained unaffected. That was why Aokiji hadn't noticed anything when he looked. Once he used Observation Haki, however, he immediately understood what Li Ziming's second-generation right hand really was.
