The Sky Islands of the past had survived on the charity of the Blue Sea. Now, they were using products the Blue Sea could not provide to give back to themselves.

While advancing the development of the Heavenly Kingdom and conducting all kinds of experiments, Annus had not neglected the upbringing of his godsons.

Ever since Teach had gradually grown older, Annus had devoted more and more attention to him. Shamrock and Shanks, meanwhile, had been left in Lilith's care.

This had made the twins closer to Lilith, but after Annus took over the education of the two children, things changed somewhat.

That morning, Annus was having breakfast with the twins when he saw Shanks scoop all the shredded Sky Fish from his bowl of porridge into Shamrock's.

Morning light slanted in through the arched windows on the eastern side of the temple, leaving half the low dining table bright and the other half dark.

The bright half fell over Shanks's shoulders, while the dark half shrouded Shamrock.

Lilith had recently had the dining table bought from Brian Exchange. Its surface had been polished smooth, and its edges rounded off to keep the children from bumping into them.

Three rough clay bowls sat on the table. A layer of finely shredded Sky Fish floated atop the porridge, dried with a Heat Dial by the God Guards in the kitchen before being mixed with grains of salt.

Shanks liked it very much, while Shamrock only picked at a few bites each time before setting down his spoon.

"He barely ate anything last night, Lord Annus!"

Shanks scraped the last bit of fish into Shamrock's bowl, then looked up to explain to Annus. His tone was utterly matter-of-fact, as if this were something that ought to be done every day.
