When Kagran pierced through the clouds, following that streak of golden lightning into the depths of the cloud sea, a figure appeared before him.

The man wore a simple yet luxurious white priestly robe. Wings extended from his back, while his face was hidden beneath a large hood, making him seem deeply mysterious.

"Who are you?" Kagran wiped the sweat from his brow.

"I am an ancestor of the Shandia, Kalgara. My descendant, did you find me by following the guidance of the lightning?" the mysterious man said.

"Kalgara? You're the legendary great warrior?!" Kagran immediately grew excited.

The great warrior Kalgara was the greatest ancestor in Shandia legend, a warrior who had led his people against the invaders of Angel Island four hundred years ago!

"That's right," the mysterious man said.

"That's wonderful! Great Ancestor, please save the Shandia of today!" Trusting the mysterious man's words, Kagran hurried forward to grab his ancestor's hand, but grasped nothing but air.

"I am already dead. What remains is merely a wisp of my soul, incapable of helping you defeat the powerful Thunder God. But I can grant you the battle techniques passed down through our clan since ancient times. They are buried among the clouds ahead." The mysterious man gave a light cough and spoke calmly.

"Really?! That's great! Great Ancestor, please show me the way!"

"Look carefully. It is right in front of you..."

Before he could react, the mysterious man vanished before Kagran's eyes. He moved so quickly that all Kagran's retinas caught was a fleeting streak of golden lightning.

Then, somewhere ahead, golden lightning flickered amid a cluster of pure white clouds.

Is that the place? The "guidance" Great Ancestor spoke of?

Feeling both anxious and uneasy, Kagran slipped into the cloud cluster indicated by the golden lightning.
