I want to apologize to everyone. My health has been a bit of a mess lately, so I need to adjust my update schedule.
I used to post two chapters totaling six thousand words. For the time being, I'll switch to one chapter with a guaranteed four thousand words. If I'm feeling much better and write more on a given day, I'll add an extra update.
It's really the same old problem: dizziness caused by high blood pressure. If I sit in front of the computer for more than half an hour, my head starts spinning, which seriously affects my writing.
Because I feel unwell during the day, I have to stay up every night to finish the next day's update. But the more I stay up late, the higher my blood pressure gets, and sometimes I can't sleep either. I saw a doctor, and the doctor said I absolutely had to correct this habit of staying up late, or it would only get worse.
I talked to other authors about my condition, and some said it might have been caused by getting COVID repeatedly. I'm not sure whether I should blame the high blood pressure or the virus—
But in the end, it all comes down to my body being too weak. When I was younger, I thought writing was mental work. Now I know it's purely physical labor.
Lastly, I hope everyone stays healthy. When you're young, you feel like you should strive and fight hard. Now, though, I truly feel that having a healthy body is more important than anything else.
