The door opened, and both women's eyes lit up.

"My backside only just touched the chair," Lin Xiaosu said. "Were you two working a case together?"

Zhou Xi took the tea Miao Ruolan handed her and sipped it. "We've seen plenty of disputes where both sides beat each other bloody. But have you ever seen both sides join forces to beat an unrelated passerby black and blue?"
