Background

Jingyi obtained the Tenseigan through a lucky draw in a Naruto mobile game before suddenly losing consciousness and transmigrating into the shinobi world. After an injury, he presented the Tenseigan’s evolution as a degenerating Byakugan, withdrew from his ninja squad, and applied to Konoha Hospital’s Medical Department under the pretext of researching a cure for his bloodline disease. 1

As a Branch House member, Jingyi lived in the outer reaches of the Hyuga compound and resented the clan’s hierarchy. When the first Tenseigan fetal movement erased his Caged Bird Seal, he repainted the mark with permanent paint and used art supplies as an excuse for possessing it. He intended to remain underestimated until the Tenseigan had matured enough to free him from the Main House’s control. 1

Tsunade accepted Jingyi into the Medical Department and became his primary mentor. His exceptional chakra control and learning speed let him rapidly master advanced medical ninjutsu; after two months, he passed the medical-ninja assessment with outstanding results and obtained work at Konoha Hospital. 2 3

Appearance

Jingyi’s most conspicuous feature is his transformed dōjutsu: deep azure irises with black central dots, described as resembling blue stars emitting light. The appearance caused others to believe his Byakugan had degenerated rather than evolved. 1

Personality

Jingyi is cautious, calculating, and fiercely independent. He built his “bloodline degeneration” persona to avoid dangerous missions, evade Hyuga control, and buy time for his Tenseigan to develop.
