Above the Ghost Soldier Stood the Ghost King

Once the Final Blade Federation Army withdrew inside the walls, the terrain was no longer an open plain.

The last group carrying Phase-Change Energy covered the main force as it rushed through the walls. Once the rear units were inside too, they began pulling back.

Rumble!

The earth shook, and space trembled.

Enormous walls, two hundred meters high and immensely thick, rose slowly from the ground. Like giant mechanisms, they climbed toward the sky, reaching the Electromagnetic Interference Clouds in the blink of an eye.

Some of the rear units began retreating through the Light Gates, while others received orders to stay and fight!

From high above, the view opened up.

Rows of towering walls rose from the ground in staggered layers.

Their thunderous rumble shook the sky and earth.

For a moment, even the Red Sun Federation's advance slowed.

But its forces still charged through the Light Gates in the walls.

Commanders at every level roared over the radio:

"All squadrons, pay attention! Check the number of the Arena Zone you're in.

Fighters in zones 200 through 800, fight with everything you've got, but don't hold out at all costs! Pick your moment for a tactical retreat!

We're about to switch to dispersed tactics. Orders will be delayed, so staying alive comes first!"

"All squadrons, pay attention! Send more troops to Arena Zones 1 through 200 and 800 through 1000. Hold them at all costs!"

Every Arena Zone had a number, running from east to west, and there were more than a thousand of them.

But once the battlefield was divided, controlling it all as though it were an extension of one's own body became extremely difficult.

They needed broad orders to stabilize the situation before they could direct the finer details.
