Am I Worse Than a Fart?

Misumi Tsurugi couldn't help but curl his lips at the scene before him.

"Kid, do you have the five hundred thousand ryo ready?"

Kanami shook his head slightly and said calmly, "Watch a little longer."

Knowing Sasuke was about to power up, Kanami wasn't worried in the slightest.

Misumi Tsurugi sneered disdainfully. "Hmph, you won't give up until you see the coffin."

So what if they watched a little longer? Could Sasuke possibly turn this around?

Misumi Tsurugi watched as Sasuke remained firmly suppressed by Yoroi Akado, without even the slightest chance of fighting back.

"Even the Jonin present look grave. What could a brat like you possibly understand?"

Kanami frowned slightly.

"You talk too much."

Seeing that Kanami seemed a little angered, Misumi Tsurugi snorted. "Once you give me the five hundred thousand ryo, I'll naturally shut up."

Yoroi Akado gripped Sasuke by the forehead.

"Kid, if you don't surrender now, I'll suck you dry and kill you."

Sasuke replied coldly, "You should surrender. Otherwise, I'll beat you to death."

"You arrogant little bastard!"

Yoroi Akado roared and stopped holding back, increasing the speed at which he drained Sasuke's chakra.

Sasuke's body instantly became weak and feeble.

Sakura cried out worriedly, "Sasuke!"

His consciousness, which had been on the verge of fading, abruptly cleared for a moment at her call.

Sasuke suddenly exploded with force and kicked Yoroi Akado away.

Yoroi Akado, who had been kicked back, patted the dust from his clothes and said with a dark expression:

"You'll die by my hands soon enough."

Chakra gathered in his palm again as he charged at Sasuke.

Sasuke barely dodged every palm strike. In his current condition, if he took even one more hit, he would completely lose his ability to move.

"Hahaha, why are you dodging now, coward?"

Sasuke carefully watched every joint in his opponent's body, predicting the direction of his attacks.

Then, amid their tense exchange, a sharp glint flashed through Sasuke's eyes.

He instantly vanished from Yoroi Akado's sight.

What?! He disappeared?

In the instant Yoroi Akado froze, Sasuke kicked upward into his chin, sending him flying straight into the air.

Rock Lee, watching from the stands, was shocked.

"That's my technique, Shadow of the Dancing Leaf! Guy-sensei, can I sue him for infringement?"

Sasuke leaped fiercely into the air, rising alongside Yoroi Akado's backward-flying body.

"Lion Combo!"

Under his smooth string of attacks, Yoroi Akado crashed headfirst onto the arena and lost consciousness.

Gekko Hayate crouched beside Yoroi Akado and discovered that he had already stopped breathing.

"There's no need to confirm this..."

"Cough. Sasuke wins."

"Damn it!"

Misumi Tsurugi, seated in the stands, stared in disbelief at Yoroi Akado lying on the ground.

Kanami turned and walked over to Misumi Tsurugi, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"You haven't forgotten our bet, have you?"

Misumi Tsurugi fearfully glanced at the Sound Ninja in the distance.

Kanami moved his lips beside Misumi Tsurugi's ear.

"I know you're worried Orochimaru will kill you, but if you don't tell me, I'll tell the Third Hokage that you're Orochimaru's spy in Konoha."

Misumi Tsurugi's face changed drastically at those words.

"How did you know about that?!"

Not even the ANBU knew that he had infiltrated Konoha as a spy, yet this brat had exposed him!

"Come with me."

The two arrived by the stairs and found an empty corner.

Since everyone's attention was focused on Sasuke, no one cared whether two people had disappeared from the stands.

Kanami said calmly, "Tell me the secret of your body."

Misumi Tsurugi repeatedly checked to make sure no one else was around.

Then he pulled a scroll from his clothes, stuffed it into Kanami's arms, and whispered:

"This is the scroll Lord Orochimaru gave me. It records how people before us cultivated the ability to extend their limbs."

After saying that, he left dejectedly.

Kanami watched his retreating back for a moment.

He knew that Misumi Tsurugi would face Kankuro later in the matches and get thoroughly beaten up.

But that had nothing to do with him.

The second match was Shino Aburame versus Zaku.

By the time Kanami returned, Shino had already won with ease.

As the electronic screen continued to scroll.

The third match was Kankuro versus Misumi Tsurugi.

After Misumi Tsurugi wrapped himself around Kankuro's body, he discovered that Kankuro had been a puppet all along, while the puppet on his back was the real Kankuro.

Gekko Hayate said, "Third match, Kankuro wins."

The fourth match was Haruno Sakura versus Yamanaka Ino.

The moment they stepped onto the field, the two began bickering over Sasuke.

Kanami could only shake his head at the sight.

After a long bout of hair-pulling and Friendship Face-Breaking Fist, they both collapsed, unable to continue.

The fifth match was Tenten versus Temari. As expected, Tenten was defeated by Temari.

The sixth match was Shikamaru Nara versus Kin, and Shikamaru won easily.

Next came the seventh match.

Kiba Inuzuka versus Naruto.

Before the match began, Kanami walked over to Kiba and said earnestly, "You should be careful of Naruto's fart later."

"You're saying I'll be defeated by one of his farts?"

Kanami nodded.

Kiba Inuzuka angrily bared his claws.

Then he turned to Hinata and complained:

"Listen to what your Kanami is saying! He actually said I'm worse than one of Naruto's farts!"

Hinata immediately covered her small face shyly, muttering to herself.

"My... Kanami..."

Seeing Hinata sink into her own fantasy world again and ignore his words.

Kiba Inuzuka gritted his teeth and jumped down angrily.

"Naruto, get down here!"

Asuma smiled at Kurenai Yuhi from the stands. "That kid from the Inuzuka clan is pretty fired up."

"How did these two hot-blooded idiots end up facing each other?"

Kurenai Yuhi shook her head helplessly.

She could already foresee Kiba and Naruto fighting while shouting louder and louder than each other.

"Hahahaha!"

Naruto laughed as he leaped down from the stands.

As Gekko Hayate announced the start.

Their battle erupted at once.

After an intense fight, Kiba Inuzuka ultimately fell to Naruto's fart.

"Damn it... I really was defeated by a fart..."

Though Kiba was unwilling to accept it, his hundredfold sense of smell had pushed his brain past its limit, and he fainted.

He was then carried away on a stretcher.

At that moment, Hinata sensed Kanami's gaze.

She turned and asked with a smile, "What is it?"

Kanami shook his head. "Nothing."

"Wait!"

Hinata's eyes suddenly widened. She had nearly forgotten something important.

She jumped down from the stands and jogged over to Kiba, who was being carried away on a stretcher, handing him the medicine she had prepared beforehand.

Then she hurriedly ran back, panting as she said:

"I almost forgot the medicine I prepared for you all."

"I get some too?"

"Mm."

Hinata answered softly and nodded shyly.

A warm current instantly rose in Kanami's heart.

"Next, the eighth match: Hinata Hyuga versus Neji Hyuga."

At Gekko Hayate's announcement, everyone turned to look at Hinata and Neji, discussing them in low voices.

Kakashi said calmly, "Is this fate?"

Seeing how nervous Hinata was, Kanami poked her cheek and smiled.

"It's time to show your brother the results of your training these past few days."
