"Old man, are you really ready to die?"
Kanami asked again.
"I'm ready. There's nothing left for me to miss in this world. My old friends are all in the Pure Land. What's the point of me staying in the living world?"

"You said before that you'd do it."
Kanami blinked.

"So sudden?"
Kanami, standing nearby, twitched slightly at the corner of his mouth. "You didn't regret it, did you?"
"Impossible! Goodbye, brat! Take good care of yourself, and of the people you cherish. Don't end up like me..."
