Background / History

As the Fourth Raikage, A regards protecting his village as the defining duty of his position. During his confrontation with Kanami, he accepts that Kanami is viewed as a villain by Kumogakure’s children while insisting that a Shadow must fight for the village’s survival 105.

He commits himself to a full-power assault against Kanami’s Wood Arhat, escalating his chakra and using Lariat. The attack damages only splinters of the construct’s foot before the giant seizes him 105.

A later Chūnin Exams was disrupted by an invasion attributed to the Fourth Raikage, contributing to Kanami remaining a Genin despite his strength 161.

Lightning-like Chakra Enhancement

A can intensify the lightning-like chakra surrounding his body, progressing from a blue aura to a blood-red state as he commits to his strongest attack 105.
