In Marvel, the System Works for Me
The internet was flooded with livestream recordings and edited clips.
Suzaku had filmed the first half himself. His steady hand gave the footage a cinematic feel, suggesting he had either worked in photography or taken it up as a hobby.
After Suzaku fought Dust Angel, Wade took over the camera.
The footage shook wildly, cutting around at random. Sometimes Wade shoved his scruffy face right into the lens. He clearly wasn't in a good state of mind: he often rambled, contradicted himself, and made no sense at all.
But the dirty jokes kept coming—
"Your left leg is Thanksgiving and your right leg is Christmas. Can I visit you between the holidays?"
"The world's a terrible place. The only place fit to live is in your arms."
—one after another, without missing a beat.
And the viewers... actually liked him.
Coulson, on the other hand, was suffering.
One moment,
Dust Angel's fist looked ready to smash into Suzaku's face, and Coulson's hands clenched in tension.
The next,
the camera swung to Xu Xi fighting Ajax.
Coulson: "..."
Xu Xi seemed to be in grave danger.
Then the camera swung again, and Wade's stubbly face filled the screen.
"Oh no, my friend looks like he's in trouble. Oh no, my friend's assistant looks like he's in trouble too. They're both in danger. Who do I help? What a dilemma. I've decided... neither. I can't help either of them. I'm in pretty rough shape myself, like I've had diarrhea for three days straight. My legs are jelly." Wade chatted away to the camera.
Coulson: "Is this guy insane?!"
Apparently, he really was.
What could Coulson do but forgive him? Picking a fight with a madman would be crazy.
Then the camera swung again.
"Does the
