They had left the camp more than twenty minutes ago.
Geralt suddenly stopped.
He turned around.
And stared at a dense thicket nearby.
"Come out," Geralt said. "Don't make me say it twice."

"So you were faking that weakness earlier?" Geralt asked.
"Yes," Kara replied.
"Why are you following me?" Geralt asked.
He kept the gun trained on her.
"My name is Kara White. The missing David White is my younger brother," Kara said sadly. "Those rich bastards only care about their heir. They don't give a damn whether anyone else lives or dies. I just want to save my brother."
Geralt looked at Kara until she grew uneasy, then said slowly:
"If I remember right, David White is an only child. Are you two siblings from a blended family?"
"I'll give you one more chance to come up with a better story."
