Forget it. The bullet lodged in Garm's surface muscles had already been squeezed out without leaving a mark.
The Demon Hunter Gun wasn't powerful enough to do much to Garm.
Geralt looked down.
Three bloody wounds crossed his chest, the flesh torn open.
Luckily, he had blocked with the Demon Hunter Gun at the last moment. Otherwise, he would have been gutted.
First came pain, then numbness.
Poison!
"Hiss..."
He sucked in a sharp breath, making a tiny contribution to global warming.
"You've really pissed me off."
Geralt staggered to his feet and tore off his ruined shirt, revealing lean, well-defined muscles.
He dipped a finger in the blood.
Then sucked it clean.
"Blood as the catalyst. Forbidden Spellmark."
"Ten percent..."
"Release!"
As his words fell,
dense cyan markings appeared across Geralt's body, and his azure pupils turned bright yellow.
His pupils suddenly widened,
then narrowed into vertical slits.
Black vapor rose from the wounds on his chest. Flesh writhed, pink tissue sprouted, and within seconds, the wounds had healed.
Quite a sight.
If the new skin hadn't been so different in color, no one would have guessed such gruesome wounds had been there.
"The scent of a demon... Haha! You dare steal demonic power? The backlash will be brutal, foolish human!"
On one point, Garm was right.
The so-called Forbidden Spellmark
let a human body wield demonic power.
First came the corruption of the body by that power, leaving the Winchester Family unable to have children.
They could only carry on the family line by adopting children.
It was an equivalent exchange.
Then came the erosion of body and mind.
Why was a Winchester so thoroughly equipped? To avoid using the Forbidden Spellmark, or at least use it as little as possible.
Once activated, the fight had to end
