Claire stormed out of the police station.
The corners of her mouth immediately lifted. Everything was going smoothly.
As she left the station, she saw the dispatcher, the clerks, the chief, and the officers either making calls or about to.
Life in a small town was boring. Gossip was scarce, and whoever got there first got the best of it.
The town was tiny and short on entertainment. It would take an hour or so for the news to spread across Storybrooke.
Claire returned to the Three Little Pigs Inn.
Geralt opened the door.
"Did you get it done?"
"Of course!" Claire thumped her chest, making the two white rabbits on it bounce excitedly.

"This is Storybrooke. Claire's territory!"
"Uh-huh, sure." Geralt nodded absently. "Where's Simmons?"
Claire had come in alone.
"Him..." Claire said irritably. "He doesn't believe we can catch the real killer. No, he thinks Thompson is the killer... Forget it. I don't want to talk about him."
Claire tossed a backpack to Nancy.
"What's this?" Nancy asked.
"A change of clothes."
"I don't need it."
Nancy hadn't planned to spend the night in Storybrooke. Black Pine Town wasn't far away, after all. But when she thought of her father, once a top lawyer and now slowly turning into a disheveled drunk, her heart sank. Would he even notice if his daughter didn't come home?
Nancy unzipped the backpack. A faint blush rose to her cheeks, and she shot Claire an indignant glare.
There were clothes inside, all right: black stockings, white stockings, sheer gauze, and a few adult toys.
Claire grinned and made an encouraging gesture at Nancy. "You've got this!"
