Working for the System in Marvel
Geralt picked up a black leather book from the floor and pulled out a black business card.
That made two.
Would collecting all seven summon a Demon? Geralt was looking forward to finding out.
After thinking it over, he took a photo of the ritual and the card with his phone and sent it to Caitlyn.
What exactly would the Parasitic Fetus give birth to? A supernatural creature that possessed the traits of both Floating Spirits and humans?
If Floating Spirits were replaced with Wraiths, or even Demons, had anyone succeeded?
The ritual photo would surely give Caitlyn a greater sense of urgency.
He knocked on the master bedroom door.
There was no response.
Geralt pushed at the door. It was locked from the inside.
"Who is it?" Melinda's trembling voice came from within.
"It's me."
The door opened a crack. Melinda only opened it all the way after confirming it was Geralt.
Geralt told Melinda two things. The good news was that the Wraith had been completely destroyed. The bad news was that Robert had been possessed too deeply to be saved. He was very sorry.
The officers from No. 9 Precinct who arrived afterward handled the follow-up. They would arrange a "reasonable" explanation for Robert's disappearance.
He returned home.
As usual, Rebecca made a late-night snack, and Geralt took a cold shower as usual, letting all his negative emotions flow down the drain.
"Geralt!"
The woman stood there with a cold expression, both hands braced against the table as she stared at Geralt.
She was trying to overwhelm him with sheer presence.
Geralt looked up and found himself facing two enormous headlights.
He was instantly intimidated.
Impressive!
Had this woman been raised on milk, or was she simply a cow
