Keep Going, Sixue! A Wish for Myself!

Some things had happened at home these past few days, and Sixue's mind was a mess. Even so, Sixue had kept working hard to post updates, all for the readers who supported Sixue, all to avoid letting you down!

Honestly, judging by this book's results, both subscriptions and recommendations were just so-so. Sixue wouldn't go into how bad they were. The point was that this was Sixue's first book, and however hard things got, Sixue would keep going.

After these past few months, Sixue suddenly realized that several fellow authors who had started posting around the same time, or even earlier, had stopped updating. A few authors Sixue used to get along with had left too, and we'd lost touch.

It really was heartbreaking!

Leaving aside whether those authors had let down the readers who supported them, it was such a shame that they'd given up.

Some of those books were quite good. Sixue reread one today, but it was no longer being updated. How sad!

Sixue had been on a journey too. Five hundred thousand words wasn't an enormous amount, but it wasn't nothing, either. From the time people first questioned whether Sixue would abandon the book until now, Sixue had typed it out one word at a time. Through wind and rain, Sixue had made it this far. Looking back, Sixue realized: I really did stick with it!

It really had been hard. So hard!

But even through the difficulties, hadn't Sixue kept going?

No matter how poor the results were, that alone was something to be proud of!
