Another week had passed, and Sixue had kept up the daily ten-thousand-word pace of three updates. Phew, Sixue let out a long breath of relief. This week was the hardest week Sixue had ever faced since starting to write, with a persistent cold constantly playing havoc with Sixue's fragile nerves, but fortunately it was finally seen through to the end; Sixue had successfully conquered the illness without a single missed update, feeling so proud and full of triumph.
Yet looking back at this week's results, one could only use the words in the title to describe them—desolate and bleak. Did Sixue wonder if everyone was still supporting this book? If there was anywhere Sixue wrote poorly, everyone should point it out; Sixue checked the review section every single day just to keep abreast of everyone's suggestions in a timely manner—for instance, Brother Xiaocao's suggestion, which Sixue adopted right away. Where there were mistakes, Sixue would correct them without the slightest hesitation or delay.
If there was anything no good, everyone should point it out; as long as it was not a personal attack, Sixue would reply to each and every one. Could they please not let the stats drop any further? Was Sixue still not working hard enough, or what was the problem?
Sigh, a new week was here, and there was still half a month left until the end of the month. Sixue would keep up the three daily updates without slacking off in the slightest, hoping only that next week's stats would be a bit better, and earnestly begging everyone for support.
If you had the means, please subscribe, give Sixue a monthly vote, or even just a recommendation vote would do. Please don't let all of Sixue's week-upon-week of hard work go entirely ignored.
Thank you, everyone.
