An elemental upheaval occurred when a widespread basic element suddenly turned chaotic and erupted for unknown reasons.
Throughout the affected area, that element grew unstable and burst apart, bent on destroying any living creature it touched!
During an elemental upheaval, the rampaging element became extraordinarily deadly. Not only could demons no longer absorb it, they had to expel every trace of the same element from their bodies!
