"Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning."
On the island, Asuma formed hand seals, his cheeks puffing out.
Before everyone's eyes, he spewed out a massive cloud of smoke that blanketed the sky.
Over the years, he had improved somewhat. At the very least, Konoha's various new training facilities had helped him improve tremendously.
He could defeat three or four versions of his wartime self.
Thick smoke filled the air, covering half the island and swallowing the forest Moegi had created.
Only the towering treetops remained visible overhead, showing that his display was not as impressive as Moegi's.
Fire.
Ignited.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Flames spread, explosions rang out one after another, and thunderous roars echoed beside the new students' ears.
The new students fell into shock once more.
Were their parents' generation all this strong?
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Where Ash Pile Burning covered Moegi's forest, the trees were blasted apart and set ablaze. The visible treetops fell from the sky and crashed into the island's ground.
A tremendous noise rang out.
Konohamaru watched with a smile. "I've finally surpassed Uncle Asuma. Hehe, just as expected of me, Konohamaru."
He could already tell that Uncle Asuma was no longer his match.
Perhaps he had even surpassed Grandpa.
"Grandpa, did you see that? Konoha is very strong now. You won't be forgotten either. Your grandson, Konohamaru, will continue carrying on your will and leading Konoha forward."
Konohamaru thought of Hiruzen Sarutobi.
He truly had been too young back then. His grandfather would not be forgotten.
Especially with him still here.
"Wow, that was amazing."
"But he wasn't as amazing as that female teacher earlier."
"Yeah, that female teacher used Wood Release. She must be stronger than everyone else."
"They're all amazing."
Listening to the new generation's chatter, Konohamaru curled his lips into a smile.
