Background / History
Before becoming Qing Xuan, he was Gu Xuan, a Blue Star trainee assigned to Douzhe Continent as a work-study student with an Iron Sword martial soul and Innate Soul Power of level three. A transmission accident severed his connection to that world and left him within the Primordial World instead. 1 3
His True Spirit merged with the remaining origin of the shattered Chaos Pearl inside Buzhou Mountain. Nourished by Buzhou Mountain’s fortune, Pangu’s pressure, and surrounding Dao traces, he gestated within an Innate Grand Formation while a nascent world and its World Great Dao developed within him. 3 4
After thirty-six Epoch Cycles, Qing Xuan took human form as an Innate Divine Being. He retained Gu Xuan’s memories and identity, but adopted “Qing Xuan” as the Dao title representing his rebirth from the Chaos Pearl’s origin. 4
Appearance
Qing Xuan appears as a youthful Daoist despite having gestated for millions of years. He usually wears a dark or black Daoist robe and carries himself with an unusually calm, ancient bearing. 5 7
- Dark Daoist robes. 5
- Youthful human appearance and composed expression. 5
- His birth was accompanied by visions of the sun, moon, stars, mountains, rivers, and Four Seas gathering around him. 5
- His manifested inner world contains celestial bodies, mountains, rivers, and the Four Seas. 20 30
Personality
Qing Xuan is measured, patient, and highly independent. He does not mistake foreknowledge from his former life for the ability to safely change destiny; instead, he avoids conflicts beyond his capacity while refusing to retreat from threats directly in his path. 7 8 9
He favors observation and deduction over force. This is reflected in his treatment of formations, treasures, and enemies: he studies their principles before acting, even when a direct assault would be faster. 10 28
Although generally restrained, Qing Xuan has a dry and eccentric sense of humor. He treats the phrase “Fellow Daoist, please stay” as an ominous curse capable of dragging cultivators into calamity. 22 24
Abilities & Skills
World Dao
Qing Xuan’s innate Dao is the World Dao, inherited from the Chaos Pearl’s origin. His cultivation centers on evolving an inner world capable of containing, governing, and eventually generating its own laws. 4 16
- Manifests mountains, rivers, sun, moon, stars, and seas as a world projection. 4 7
- Draws enemies and attacks into his world, where he can suppress them through the power of heaven and earth. 9
- Restores damaged terrain within his manifested world, preventing trapped enemies from exploiting destruction. 9
- Supports and stabilizes damaged spiritual veins, formations, and collapsing spaces. 19 46
- His world became self-sustaining after integrating Yin-Yang, Five Elements, Space-Time, and Creation principles. 16
- Initially lacked the protection of a true spiritual treasure against similarly ranked opponents. 10
Chaos Origin
The Chaos Pearl Fragment restored Qing Xuan’s dormant Chaos Origin, revealing that the boundless Chaos beyond his inner world is both the source and eventual destination of his path. 30 40
- Resonates with fragments and derivative treasures of the shattered Chaos Pearl. 28 30
- Expanded his inner world’s outer boundary into a genuine Chaos realm. 30
- Allowed him to sense and recover the Twenty-Four Sea-Calming Divine Pearls. 30 32
- His understanding of the Chaos Dao remains incomplete; he recognizes it as his eventual direction rather than a path he can presently pursue directly. 40
Formation Deduction and Space-Time Control
Qing Xuan can use his World Dao to mirror the workings of formations and derive their laws without destroying them. 10
- Entered the Creation Azure Lotus’s hidden formation by reflecting its transformations within his phantom world. 10
- Identified the Dragon Race remnant’s dependence on the Ruined Realm formation and tracked its reconstruction cycle. 27 28
- Countered an attack spanning possible futures by drawing its countless manifestations into the present. 27
- Reversed the Calamity-Transferring Formation after recording its complete circulation through the dragon-pattern traces entering his world. 28
Great Luo Dao Fruit
Upon reaching Great Luo, Qing Xuan gathered every alternate possibility of himself across the River of Time into one unique true self. 20
- His Dao Fruit is no longer dependent on a single moment or version of himself. 20
- He understands that a Great Luo’s personal Dao must remain independent even if heaven and earth are destroyed and remade. 16
- His current Dao Fruit has advanced to the twentieth heaven of Great Luo. 48
Equipment / Weapons / Items

- Hongjun — Fellow Daoist, early mentor, and intellectual equal. Their Dao discussions helped Qing Xuan understand the threshold of Great Luo, though Qing Xuan continues to follow his own path. 8 16 48

- Hong Yun — Friend of Zhen Yuanzi who later provides Qing Xuan and Qing Yi with Ginseng Fruits and remains connected to their western-earth-vein preparations. 38 40 49
- Minghe — Temporary ally in the Blood Sea. Qing Xuan helped stabilize the treasure formation, after which Minghe accepted a karmic debt to Qing Xuan and Qing Yi. 46

- Su Qingxue — A distant Blue Star observer with no direct contact with him. His composure and power inspire her, while his closeness to Qing Yi causes her jealousy and uncertainty about their future alignment. 9 17 32

Western Earth-Vein Preparations
Rather than confront Luohou directly, Qing Xuan investigates the Black Lotus demonic-seal network and prepares to preserve part of the western earth veins during the coming Dao-Demon conflict. He seeks Heavenly Dao Merit while limiting the damage of an event he cannot fully prevent. 37 38 49

Qing Xuan establishes his primary sanctuary on Purple Tenuity Emperor Star because its link to the Primordial World’s firmament better supports the future development of his World Dao.
