After all that talking, Kino finally understood. White Fox was asking him to take advantage of her.
Of course, it wasn't quite what Kino imagined.
As the only descendant of the Nine-Tailed Fox, Han Yamei had grown tired of this world. Having no one of her own kind was lonely. Like countless shut-ins, she dreamed of crossing into another world. Anyone who had read those novels had probably imagined arriving in a strange world, becoming a ruler, and surrounding themselves with beauties.
Kino had thought about it too.
He just never expected it to come true!
Han Yamei, the White Fox, had dreamed of it as well. She didn't want to become another Wu Zetian. She wanted to find her own kind—the Fox Tribe—in another world.
But no matter how hard Kino thought, he couldn't recall any Nine-Tailed Foxes in the worlds of One Piece or Fairy Tail.
There probably weren't any in Fairy Tail.
One Piece did have a Nine-Tailed Fox Devil Fruit, but that wasn't the Fox Tribe.
What a headache.
"First, I should tell you that the world I'm taking you to probably doesn't have any of your kind either."
"Second, if you want to come with me, you'll have to sign a contract. Your life and death will be in my hands."
"Do you understand?"
White Fox nodded. "I do. Xixi told me."
"Then why do you still want to?"
Kino was speechless. He had once wanted to take Xixi in—not as his woman, only as a subordinate. But Xixi valued freedom. She would rather die than be controlled. He wouldn't have controlled her anyway, yet she had still refused his "kind offer."
Because of that, Xixi had spent years purging A.I.M.
If she had agreed to Kino's offer, she could have accomplished it much sooner.
