The scalpel carefully sliced open the Pigman girl's belly. Tender white fat, like tofu pudding, came gushing out in a rush.
Li Ziran switched to a small knife, shaving along the grain of the fat. With one grab, he pulled out a large handful of it.
Looking at the completely unconscious Pigman woman, he gave a strange smile. That lump of flesh he had just shaved off weighed at least five pounds—enough to cover today's meal money.

A slender, brittle short-tailed rabbit bone was removed and replaced in the Pigman woman's lower leg. Her ankles were tightened, adding a little height.
