In the dim basement, a scalpel swiftly sliced through a major artery. Blood mingled with solvent, exposing strips of tender white flesh.

A pair of stiff hands plunged into the flesh with lightning speed, plucking out a blackened liver as though picking a peach and skillfully placing it on the tray beside them.

The Corpse Witch wiped the blade clean and began the final stitching on the liver's owner. Not far away, Li Ziran took the tray and implanted the liver into a Wolf's body.

As the liver entered, a faint mist immediately surfaced over the Wolf's body. Drawn by the liver, that wisp of vapor rapidly gathered toward a lip-shaped organ at the center.

At the same time, popping sounds like electrical currents erupted from within that peculiar organ.

Li Ziran's expression was grave, his gaze locked motionlessly on the special organ, anticipation glimmering in his eyes.

What he was doing now followed his theory exactly: fusing the water magic within different organs, breaking it down inside the Elemental Gland, then reorganizing it.

For now, this was merely the simplest form of shattering fusion.

The Water Element thrashed violently inside the organ, as if desperately trying to escape the Elemental Gland's restraints. Unfortunately, every time it reached the edge, a special mucous membrane forced it back. After thousands of such impacts, the Water Element's structure finally began to collapse and fragment, forming tiny black dots that were close to Nothingness.

At that moment, the Elemental Gland began madly absorbing energy. That energy, along with spiritual power, started to pulse. The entire organ hummed and trembled like an engine, compressing at high speed. Amid that High-Frequency Vibration, a thread of pitch-black Water Element, like ink, slowly flowed out.
