But Li Ziran happened to know that this was a legend unique to the Dwarf race.
Dwarves were short—everyone on the continent knew that—but exceptions existed even within this race. Through generation after generation of breeding, peculiar freaks would always emerge.
They were not obvious at birth, but as they grew older, their height would soar at a frightening pace. Once grown, they could even reach fifty times the size of an ordinary Dwarf.
Thus, the Dwarves specifically called them God Descendants, because such beings simply should not have belonged among Dwarves.

But every God Descendant's skin compressed the elements within their bodies, forming an insulator completely hostile to elements. With such a constitution, they were nearly immune to all magic.
