Though everything before him was pitch-black, Li Ziran seemed able to see Baron's self-mocking expression. He secretly smiled bitterly as well. There really were plenty of fools in this world. Their only chance of escape had been abandoned by the two of them just like that.
Li Ziran drew a deep breath and clapped his hands. "All right, time to work."
"Work?" Baron did not quite understand. There were no Element Stones inside the whale's mouth. Other than waiting to die, there seemed to be nothing else they could do here.
Li Ziran followed the darkness over and patted Baron on the shoulder. "Of course. There's plenty we can do. Now tell me where the exit is—the manual one. Since you left an escape pod, you can't possibly have failed to leave a manual exit."
Listening to the sound of foam flowing outside, Baron gave the direction of Li Ziran's voice an odd glance. That foam was corroding the robot's outer shell. If they went out now, they would be reduced to a pile of bone scraps in less than half a minute. "Li, you're not joking, are you?"
Li Ziran smiled. This was no time for jokes. Naturally, he had to proceed according to his own ideas. He was an Organ Witch Doctor. At the very least, he needed to understand this whale's structure. Though his knowledge of whales was currently zero, a living creature could not escape the most fundamental structures required for survival.
If he obtained its structure, perhaps he could damage the whale from within—or better yet, control this colossal behemoth.
Of course, this was a massive undertaking. But Li Ziran had stored quite a few Corpse Witches, and with the Void Spirit World's simulations, this great project could still be accomplished.
Baron led Li Ziran
