"You mean... Li Ziran?" Harley looked strangely at his granddaughter. "Him? Impossible. How could he have disturbed Father?!"
He kept shaking his head, yet the entire space hummed and trembled. Outside Red Sun Outpost, the volcano, normally suppressed by the Derivative Space, erupted again. Thick volcanic ash shot straight from the seabed to the surface, boiling the entire sea until it bubbled and gurgled.
The mages of Red Sun Outpost had begun using their stored elements to calm the volcanic disturbance. The elements released by the eruption were being dispersed to no effect, and this would attract even more sea beasts.
It would also draw prying eyes.
In the Deep Sea, where Demons lurked, this was extremely dangerous. The volcano's unusual activity could very well expose Red Sun Outpost.
Harley knew full well where the vibrations came from: the very heart of Red Sun Outpost.
The entire Derivative Space had been created by Hubble. Built atop Red Sun Volcano, it survived by drawing upon the elements released during volcanic eruptions.
The tremors could only have come from Father.
His father was losing his temper. Such abnormal behavior had often occurred when the outpost had first been established, but over the last thirty years, Father had learned to control his temper well. Tremors like these had not appeared at all.
He could not believe that an outsider human could have caused such vibrations. Cautiously, he asked, "What exactly did he do?"
Zhu Ya told Harley, item by item, about Li Ziran's activities in Dolphin Bay these past few days and his unusual feeding routine. The more she spoke, the more confused Harley became. Especially when he heard that Li Ziran had entered Blue Lake eighteen times over the past three days to feed them, he immediately sensed trouble.
There seemed to
