Li Ziran looked around strangely, unable to find Hubble anywhere. Yet he was certain Zhu Ya had spoken the truth; he could sense a thread of consciousness.
Ever since he had begun feeding the special dolphins, he had felt a peculiar consciousness enveloping him.
There was none of the terror of devouring in that consciousness, only a gentle caress.
That must have been Hubble.
As he carefully mulled over Zhu Ya's words, enlightenment suddenly struck him.
The only way to come into contact with the Devouring Serpent was to become a Devouring Serpent himself. Yes, before a Devouring Serpent that rejected everything, it seemed only two utterly identical species could approach one another.
Otherwise, how could the Devouring Serpent lay eggs?
"Zhu Ya, could you help me ask how I can become a Devouring Serpent?" Li Ziran asked softly, afraid of disturbing this supreme being.

"Really?" Li Ziran cried out in delight. He had not expected it to be so easy, to obtain the method of contacting the Devouring Serpent so simply.
"Li, don't celebrate too soon. This is a Transformation Spell. Becoming a Devouring Serpent won't be easy. Its body is larger than mountains and rivers; it isn't as simple as turning into a little snake like us." Zhu Ya chuckled. "Great-grandfather will only teach us transformation techniques. As for how exactly to transform, only you can master that yourself. There may even be special trials involved, entirely beyond your control."
"I can do it!" Li Ziran said firmly. Perhaps he could not manage communication magic, but
